As you probably know, motor sports is an extremely expensive sport.  each year we rely upon our sponsors to help us get through the racing season.  Our sponsors help us provide the necessary safety gear, parts, equipment, promotional items, team 54 gear, entry fees, travel expenses, and transportation.

We want you to be a part of Team 54
DeRagon Racing because we know that your business has something great to offer the community.  Each rae we are performing in front of 2000 people.  Once per month we do a R.A.D event at a San Diego county school.  We take part in doing the annual Ocean Beach Christmas Parade, and January takes us to the Monster Jam Event in Anaheim, California.  all these People at all these events wil see your company's name on our car.  We will gladly pass out business cards and send people your way.  We've just created thousands of potential customers for you.  Last but not least you are helping a young man reach for his dream to drive in NASCAR.

Nathan DeRagon

Mini Dwarf 54

Nathan started racing in 2006 when he was 6 years old.  He finished his rookie season as a top ten driver.  In January of 2007 the Mini Dwarf Division went to compete at the Monster Jam Event in Anaheim, California.  With only ten races under his belt he went on to take the win beating out seasoned drivers.

As the 2007 season got under way, our pit crew changed the body over to aluminum, did some final adjustments and the car was hooked up and running strong.  We can confidently say that we dominated the division this past year.  With 5 Main Event wins and 9 top 5 finishes we where at the top.

In 2007 Nathan became a part of Southern California Racers Against Drugs.  Also known as So. Cal. R.A.D.  It's a non-profit alternative drug prevention program that teaches kids to "reach for your dreams not drugs".  It is a free program to schools in the San Diego and Riverside Counties.

With a sense of place in his community, a dream of going to NASCAR in his hear, Nathan is a true champion.  In the Winners Circle the Dirt Dude (The Voice of Barona Speedway) always interviews Nathan and asks if he would like to thank anyone.  Nathan always thanks the Military first, his sponsors, each of them by name, his fans and his team.

Nathan looks forward to the 2008 season, as we will be racing at different tracks including Victorvile, Barona Speedway, and Imperial Counties.  Nathan looks forward to setting the standard for great Auto Racing.
